Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! [21 Dec 2005|11:59pm] [ mood | rushed ] The last two Christmases, you may have remembered, I posted big bunches of anime Christmas/Holiday-themed icons. Well, I wanted to continue that tradition this year...however, I've been running into a lot of problems. (First it was my hosting acting wonky, then it was my Photoshop crashing and me loosing about 15 or so icons that were half done x__x) So, here are the ones I have finished. Hopefully it's just some technical difficulties, but I'll keep you all updated. No icons right now. But still important! [01 Sep 2005|05:41pm] [ mood | drained ] I know that all of you are already being bombarded with information about the current state of the New Orleans flooding, but all the same, I urge all of you who haven't yet to consider donating to The American Red Cross. I personally know a few people who are down there, and they need every little bit they can. They need drinking water, they need food, they need the very basic things in life right now--because some of them (MANY of them) have lost everything. Even if you can't donate much: a few cents, a few dollars, it doesn't matter. You can donate online, and many physical locations (supermarkets, Wal-Marts, ect.) have set up donation stations. If you can, also please consider donating blood as well, or instead of money. These people truely need everything you can spare to give. PS--Also, please consider helping the animals and pets that were lucky enough to have survived as well. 2 comments|post comment

I made this from photos I took all over Seattle specifically for this project. ^^ This image pack includes 24 100x100-sized texture bases, ready for iconing! Here's some examples of my textures on icons: Since I did take these photos myself, I'd appreciate some form of credit on your icon post or just on your resource page. You can either credit kawaiimiaka, or this icon journal, pixelbunny. Please comment if you take them, and link me any icons you might make out of them. Hotlinking is BAD. [01 Jan 2005|09:15am] [ mood | irritated ] Just a reminder, Hotlinking icons is NEVER a nice thing to do. I, like many other people, PAY for my bandwidth, so whenever someone directly links icons or images from my personal server, I END UP PAYING FOR IT. THIS PERSON is offically the first person of 2005 to hotlink icons of mine. She has many other icons made by people around LJ, so if you're an icon maker yourself, I suggest looking through her stuff to see if she's sucking up your bandwidth as well. :/ (Not only icons but webgraphics as well!)
